In 1959, Dave Nowicki founded DN Electric Service
Company. The company provided quality electrical work throughout Southeastern
Wisconsin for 17 years. In 1976, Lee Hollenbeck purchased the company and
changed the name to Dnesco Electrical Contractors.
Dnesco was purchased in November of 1997 by
Joseph Klein and became Dnesco Electric, Inc. Dnesco has since enjoyed steady
growth and has continued to provide quality commercial and industrial
electrical work in Southeastern Wisconsin. Dnesco experienced further growth
with the acquisition of Elm-Brook Electric in 2002. This merger allowed Dnesco
to strengthen its design/build department and bring together more resources to
better serve its customers.
Joe Klein, President of Dnesco, entered the
electrical contracting business as a Material Handler in 1969. He later
completed his Apprenticeship, became a Journeyman Electrician, a Foreman, and
then a Superintendent. Before purchasing Dnesco, Joe was the Vice President of
Operations at another local electrical contracting firm. In addition to Joe's
daily duties at Dnesco, he is currently Chairman of the Milwaukee Area Joint
Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) and serves on the Board of
Directors for the American Subcontractors Association (ASA).
